What are the longest lasting flowers (potted, not planted) that I can buy in the Fall that will survive an occasional frost overnight? I live in New England.

The sturdiest flowers for fall color are chrysanthemums. They won't mind an occasional frost but will suffer when a hard freeze hits. Chrysanthemums are reliable for fall color. Enjoy!
