| I am in zone 6. Is this a zone where a magnoliaeflora Japonica would be happy? Our local nurseries only have April remembered, April kiss and winter star. If it would be happy, where could I purchase one, if not happy what Japonica would have similar features and where to buy? What about Auburn White? Thank you Liza Rugen |
| Very few camellias at all are considered winter hardy in zone 6. You might look at Ice Follies in the Ice Angels series along with Winter's Fire, April Remembered, Survivor, Betty Sette, Winter's Snowman, or Spring's Promise -- all in the Ice Angels hybrid series. Please work with your local professional nursery staff to determine if you have a location suited to these plants. |
