The Q&A Archives: Help White mold on my plants

Question: I have a white powder looking thing on the tips of most of my Flowers
What is it and how do I treat it

Answer: Debra,

Sorry for the delayed reply. It may be powdery mildew although that usually affects leaves not flowers. If this is the case you can control it with sprays of potassium bicarbonate sold in garden centers by various trade names such as Green Cure. Neem oil sprays may also be helpful as are sprays of Bayleton.
