Age of your Fig tree sold at the nurseries - Knowledgebase Question

I bought your fig trees at Verdino in NY last year and it was about 5-6 feet in a 5 gallon.
What is the age of these fig trees ? are they from the year before ? or older?

Unfortunately I am not certain how old the tree you purchased would have been without seeing the plant. (Your retailer should be able to advise you on that.) While a fig tree can grow that high in one season, it can easily be pruned and kept to that size for many years. And figs are propagated from rooted cuttings so the parent plant would be more than a year old, certainly. I'm sorry I can't be more specific for you.
