The Q&A Archives: pest or disease

Question: something is attacking the new growth on all of my citrus trees (limes, lemons, oranges, etc.) it looks like blisters, distorts the leaf and seems to make a run in the leaf like a worm. cannot find any bugs or anything else. What is? what do? thank you

Answer: Beverly,

Sorry for the delayed reply. That citrus leaf symptom is strange and does not bring any particular pest or disease to mind. I suspect it is not a major concern and may go away on its own and the plant start producing normal growth. If not take some leaves showing symptoms to your Montgomery County Extension Office and have them look them over. There is a horticulturist on staff there, Mr. Tom LeRoy, who should be able to help further.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
