I have a Burning Bush that is changing colors, but also growing unevenly and needs to be trimmed. When is the safest time to do this?

Pruning prompts new growth so you'll want to wait until spring to prune your burning bush. If you prune now, it will produce new growth that won't harden off enough before winter sets in. This new growth will be damaged by cold weather and will need to be pruned off in the spring. So, the best approach is to wait until spring to do any pruning.

Best wishes with your landscape!
