I have a tree shaded area covering a shrub bed in front of my house. It is watered by a sprinkler system. I have never tried Blue Girl Hollies before, but i think it would be an attractive shrub if it can tolerate the shade. I can't find any info on it so, i would appreciate any suggestions.

Jack,

Sorry for the delayed reply. Blue Girl Holly prefers a full to partial sun exposure. It can take some shade if it is very bright and if there is some period of direct sun during the day as well. Otherwise berry production will be reduced.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
