When is the best time to plant ornamental grasses from plants, not seeds?

You can plant ornamental grasses in the spring or in the fall. In fact, you can plant nearly any time the ground is not frozen, but spring and fall are best because air temperatures are cool and rainfall normally abundant, which will help the roots establish quickly.
