Chlorophytum orchidastrum Green Orange is the full name of a new houseplant with a neon glow. Even the veins in the leaves of Green Orange are bright orange in color. This creates a striking contrast against the lightly furled green leaves - an unusual and fairly rare combination of colors in the world of plants. Another benefit is the fact that the plant is low maintenance. It stores food reserves in its underground parts, which allows it to withstand temporary mineral shortages.

Chlorophytum orchidastrum Green Orange thrives at normal room temperatures in a shaded spot, out of bright sunlight. Best growth is achieved with twice weekly watering and twice monthly feeding. The rootball should never be allowed to dry out. The plant reaches a height of around 2 feet.
