Will the Arabian Jasmine do well outdoors in the mountains of Los Gatos, CA? There's not much frost though very occasionally in the winter it gets below 25 F. |
Arabian jasmine is reliably hardy only to about 30F. If there are occasional cold snaps you might be able to cover it to protect it from freezing. Planting in a protected area (near a foundation, blocked from cold winter winds), it may not be bothered at all by cold snaps. But, if your garden regularly gets to 25F during the winter months, Arabian jasmine won't be a good choice. |
