Wanteds to attach picture but couldnt. What kind of juniper bush has individual branches that form chutes that taper to nothing at the ends? These juniper bushes have limbs like the caenarti juniper

What you describe sounds like Western juniper (Juniperus occidentalis). The branches of these junipers are rough, limby, short, and have rapid taper.
