I purchased a Monrovia First Love Gardenia Patio Tree 7 months ago and now it looks like it has powdery mildew on it branches and leaves. What product do I use to get rid of this and how do I apply it? I do not want to lose my plant and it is covered with it. |
Powdery mildew is easier to prevent than to control; try spraying with a fungicide and/or pruning away the worst of the infection, and then improving the growing conditions. Powdery mildew is at its best when air circulation is poor and humidity is high. Move your patio tree to a spot that has better air circulation and don't mist the leaves of your plant. Best wishes with your gardenia! |
