The Q&A Archives: Trimming

Question: When or should Cranberry Cotoneaster be trimmed?

Answer: You can prune your Cranberry Cotoneaster in early spring, just as new growth begins. Cotoneaster can become a large, sprawling shrub without pruning so if you want to control a contain the size of your plant, a thorough spring pruning should be an annual event. Otherwise, you can simply prune off any errant branches (again, spring is the best time). Enjoy your garden!
