Every summer the fescue grass over our septic tank dies. Would Bermuda grass tolerate the heat produced there and need less water than fescue? Obviously I did not water that area during the drought so need to try that too. |
Sandra, Fescue is a cool season grass and barely survives a hot southern summer. Bermuda would be much more tough, but is also more invasive, creeping into flower beds and other garden areas. It needs lots of sun to do well. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
