The Q&A Archives: leaving a plant in its origanal container

Question: i have a robusta green juniper in a 15

Answer: As long as you insulate the roots, the juniper should be fine over the winter months. I'd wrap the nursery pot with fiberglass insulation or foam (both available at hardware stores) and then sink it back into the decorative container. This will assure the roots wont' freeze.

Best wishes with your garden!
