Growing Blueberries in Florida - Knowledgebase Question

I live in Oldsmar Florida (zone 9B)and would like to grow blueberries. Is it possible? If so, what variety and method works best?

Alison,

It should be possible to grow them there. You will need to choose southern highbush type blueberries. Contact your County Extension Office to see about the water quality in your area and its suitability to blueberries. The following web site provides more info for you:
