If you want to keep these (Zantedeschiafor) next year you will need to dig them up after the first frost. Clean them off, and let air dry at room temperature for a day or two. Pack them in just barely damp peat moss or shavings in a single layer so they do not touch each other. Store in a dark dry place at about 55 degrees. Wait until late spring to replant after you are certain all danger of frost has passed and the soil has had time to warm up again. Or, you can pot them up and grow them as houseplants. Good luck with your calla lilies! |
