Indoor winter care of Cordyline Red Star - Knowledgebase Question

I have a Cordyline Red Star which I brought inside for the winter (Minnesota). What is the best care method - lots of light or dormancy in a cool place?

It will need bright light, but don't overwater, or roots may rot. Try to keep away from heating vents, drafts, etc. Good luck!
