The Q&A Archives: arbutus

Question: i want to move three large arbutus plants. what is the best time of year to do this

Answer: Either spring or fall, when rainfall is abundant. Arbutus won't suffer too much transplant shock if you do it in the cool fall or spring months. I'd avoid moving them in winter or summer if possible.

Best wishes with your garden!
