I recently purchased a mock orange shrub I potted the plant ,can I keep it indoors thru the winter months,or does it need the cold temperatures? thank you jennifer

Mock orange does need a winter chilling period to stay healthy and bloom. If you just purchased it, it would be best to plant it outside in the ground as soon as possible. Otherwise, you might be able to overwinter it in the container stored in a cool location (below 45 degrees but above freezing) such as a garage. Good luck with your mock orange!
