I bought the ground cover Blue Phlox over the summer, but it did not bloom. Did I do something wrong?

There are two different types of phlox with cultivars that bloom blue or blu-ish flowers that might be considered groundcovers. One would be Phlox subulata, the other would be Phlox stonolifera. Both of these bloom just once a year for a week or two in the spring. So if you planted it in the summer months, it would have already bloomed for this past year. I hope you enjoy the flowers next spring!
