I moved into a new home and the builder installed Heavenly Bamboo but not quite enough. How can I tell if I have dwarf or regular? I need several more plants for the desired effect. |
Jacqueline, I apologize for this delayed reply to your gardening question and hope it is still helpful to you. The dwarf plants tend to color up their foliage well in the cool conditions while the tall regular type is the only one able to produce berries. There are several dwarf varieties so you may wish to take a compound leaf or two into the nursery to compare and try to match the variety you have. Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening year in 2007. Please stop in again soon! |
