| The variety you choose will really depend upon desired flower color, as all clematis love to twine in and around tree limbs. I'd recommend 'MMe. Julia Correvan', with wine-red flowers, or 'Comtesse de Bouchard', a mauve-pink variety. Either will complement the foliage your walnut tree and both are large (10-15') growers so they'll make quite an impact as they mature. Enjoy! |
