Should I cut back my irises and lambs ear or just let them die back? TIA donna |
The iris are somewhat evergreen, and the lambs ear can hold its foliage quite late as well. In my experience it is better to periodically remove any discolored or damaged foliage as it occurs. Removing discolored foliage as needed helps prevent disease or pest problems from building up. Healthy foliage should be left intact. |
