Please recommend a shrub for front entry. 22 ft. is shade and 22ft. is sun - We have tried helleri and soft touch - all of which was recommended to us - The shrubs would be planted against a brick wall which creates a little courtyard on each side of the entry - there are brick posts (7) which has dwarf boxwoods and ivy in concrete pots. It has been suggested by various nurserys to use - little rascle holly or a petite euonymus green. I would like something that is compact and rounded to stay with a more formal landscaping. Please help

Have you considered Hypericum prolificum (Shrubby St. John's-wort)? This is a formal, compact shrub suitable for foundation plantings, with bright yellow flowers and shiny little leaves. It grows in both sun and shade. Hollies are also a good choice for the site. Hope this information helps you decide!
