I have a cactus that has worms that are eating the pups off of it. There is only one pup left and it is turning black.What can I do?

Tom,

I apologize for this delayed reply to your gardening question and hope it is still helpful to you.

If it is a caterpillar you can spray a product containing the natural ingredient B.t. on it periodically or whenever you see the start of worm damage. If the pest is actually some other creature you need to have it identified by your local County Extension Office. Then they can prescribe an appropriate cure. Their contact info is:
