Do you know of a commercial or trading source for mayapple?
It is native to this part of Florida but none of our nurseries carry it. I have a perfect shady spot for some and I love the way they spread. The only location I have seem them here is on public land where it is illegal to collect them.

Richters Herbs, in Ontario, Canada (ph# 905-640-6677, web site: www.richters.com) carries mayapple plants.

I have searched high and low for a seed source closer to you. I talked to Northeast Florida Native Plants.
He didn't have the seed, but he believes a place
in Tallahassee may have them. Bull Bay Creek Farm
at (904)878-3989. I believe your area code has been
changed. You probably need to use the new code.

Another possibility is Woodlanders in Aiken, SC. I
don't have a telephone number for Woodlanders.
Still another is [email protected]. They
are located in Madison, FL. Their telephone number
is 904-973-2225.
