The Q&A Archives: mature size of a few conifers, not listed in material

Question: What is mature size (height and width) for the following:
Golden King False Cypress (Chamaecyparis lawsoniana Golden king),

Silberstar false cypress (chamaecyparis lawsoniana silberstar),

Blue-green Japanese cedar (Cryptomeria Japonica Radicans)

Answer: According to the Monrovia on-line plant descriptions, the Golden King should reach a landscape size of about 30 to 40 feet tall and 15 to 18 feet wide. The Silberstar should run about the same. The Cryptomeria is described as being an "upright, pyramidal tree 20 to 30 ft. tall, 7 to 10 ft. wide; reaching 50 ft. tall with age." I hope this helps.
