| Peter, I apologize for this delayed reply to your gardening question and hope it is still helpful to you. I don't think there is much of anything you can do to make your jade plant bloom. There are several types of jade plants and some bloom fairly readily (such as the types with upward cupping red edged foliage) while others almost never. The shortening days of late fall to winter trigger the bloom but this alone is not enought to convince all jade plants. Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening year in 2007.
