I recently purchased a 6 inch Dracaena Marginata Braid tree from a North Carolina Home Depot store and was wondering how to care for that tree.It came with no care instructions so if you could get back to me it would be great.

Dracaena marginata is a tropical plant that will do well as a house plant at normal room temperatures. Provide it with very bright but indirect light. Protect it from both hot and cold drafts. Water when the soil begins to dry, after watering be sure to empty the excess from the saucer under the container so it does not sit in water. It will need a bit more water in summer when it is actively growing than it does in the winter. Fertilize once a month from March through the end of October with a water soluble fertilizer formulated for foliage plants; read and follow the label directions. This plant is sensitive to fluoride so you may want to water it with rain water or fluoride-free bottled water rather than tap water. Enjoy your new plant!
