| Donna, I apologize for this delayed reply to your gardening question and hope it is still helpful to you. Ant control depends on the type of ants that are invading your house. Different ants go for different bait products for example. You can control ants by either putting out bait products that are suitable for that particular type of ant or by using general purpose insecticides labeled for in home use. Home Depot carries both types of products. You might also try to find where they are getting into the home since it is often possible to seal cracks and crevices to prevent such entry.
