| Agonis ?After Dark? loves to be grown in well-drained soils (which your raised planter should provide) but also needs plenty of water. They will grow best in full sun. They can be pruned back hard which will encourage the colorful juvenile growth. For good color, use a fertilizer high in phosphorous. I think it's a good choice for the site you describe.
