| I just purchased some Nandina plants from you and so far the weather has been mild but the weather people say that cold air from Canada is dropping temps down to where they should be in VA. Can I still plant these plants now before it gets too cold? They are actual plants not seedlings. I plan to mulch them too. |
| You can plant landscape trees and shrubs anytime the ground is not frozen. Be sure to water the nandina thoroughly after planting, but don't do any pruning (which can encourage new growth which will not be frost hardy). Your nandina's should be fine and well rooted by next spring. Best wishes with your landscape! |
