I have a mango and an avacado tree that I have grown from the seed. They are both about 3-4 feet tall and still in pots. Can I put them into the ground at this point? Is orlando FL a good place to do this? When is a good time to do so and proper procedure? Any other advice would be great as well.

Pamela,

Your area is a bit iffy for mango and avocado. There will be winters that really damage them a lot but it is worth a try since they can't stay in a pot forever. Wait until it warms up a little more and then move them outside. They get large so don't plant them too close to the house.

Thanks for the question and please stop in again soon!
