I live in Seattle WA and have been seeing hummingbirds here this Winter. How do they survive in the cold weather? And what can they be feeding on since there are no flowers in bloom?

Hummingbirds conserve their energy so they can survive cold weather. Here's a website sponsored by the University of Washington with a complete explanation: http://research.amnh.org/users...

Your local hummers are probably relying on well-stocked feeders to help them through the winter months.

Enjoy those beautiful birds!
