We do not have a leash law here, nor a scoop law. I have spoken with neighbors but they continue to allow their pets to use my property as a litter box. I've tried the sprays, but it didn't have much affect. What can I put on these spots to keep them from coming back?

If the pet owners won't cooperate with you, there's not much you can do other than to fence your yard or plant a hedge along the perimeter to discourge animals from entering your yard. You might try putting some sprinklers on a motion detector (rainbirds are especially effective) so they come on suddenly when an animal comes into your yard. If none of the above suggestions are feasible, you can help prevent spots in the lawn by hosing off the area as soon as possible to dilute the urine and keep the salts from burning the grass.

Best wishes with your landscape!
