The very tips of my indoors philodendron are browning. Do I need more/less sunlight/water?

Philodendron can develop brown leaf tips when humidity is low and salts build up in the soil. Try watering with distilled water (to avoid chlorine, flouride and salts in tap water), flooding the soil when you water (to help leach out mineral build-up) and provide bright light. You should see an improvement in the foliage as new leaves emerge. Best wishes with your philodendron!
