The Q&A Archives: Tomato plants drying up

Question: the leaves of 3 of my tomato plants turned brittle, brown, and eventually the plants lost their flowers and fruits. What coud it be?
Thank s for your response.

Answer: Chantal,

Very strange. It could be due to a lot of things including damage from something inadvertently sprayed on them or bacterial blight of the foliage. If the symptoms are still around you might try taking some leaves as samples to your local County Extension Office to see if they can diagnose it for you.
