I had a mature apricot tree in my yard that gave beautiful fruit. Two years ago we had very heavy rains during winter. Spring time came the tree had lots of buds and the leaves looked real nice and healthy, then just like that the tree lost all it's leaves and looked like it died! what happened to my tree?

If the tree died suddenly, I'd suspect a disease called Verticillium Wilt. It's a soil-borne disease so the soil should be treated before replanting.
