WHAT DOES IT MEANS WHEN IT SAYS THAT A PLANT IS NON-HARDY?

If the tag on the plant says "non-hardy" it means in will not tolerate a frost. Most tropical and sub-tropical plants fall into this category. Hope this clarifies things for you.
