This gorgeous little plant is typically sold as a florist plant and generally does not last for very long if kept indoors as a house plant; like a bouquet, you would just enjoy it for as long as it lasts. If it were spring, you might be able to plant one in the garden or move it outside to grow as a container plant, but that is not really an option in February. At this point, based on your description, it sounds like it is done.
