Ficus retusa nitida reaches 25' tall and wide so planting 2' apart will greatly overcrowd the plants. If you want a quick screen, plant ficus 10' apart. Once established, ficus will grow nearly 24" in a single season, giving you complete coverage in just a few short years.

Best wishes with your privacy screen.
