The seeds will need a cold treatment (place in the refrigerator for 6 weeks), then should be soaked overnight before planting in moistened seed-starting or potting soil mix. Set seeds about one-half inch deep in the growing medium and keep the medium moist, but not soggy wet. I cover the pots with plastic wrap to keep them from drying out too quickly. The seeds will sprout in 15-45 days when kept at 70F.

Best wishes with your pine seeds!
