I just moved in my home late fall. I noticed I have a lot of dead grass in spots. I want to know when would be a good time to seed.

Either spring or fall are the best times to reseed a lawn. These seasons are when temperatures are cool and rainfall abundant, both of which help grass seed germinate. Be sure to rake the dead grass out of the spots prior to reseeding so the seeds can make good contact with the soil.

Best wishes with your lawn!
