Hi
I have a patch of Rasberry plants and I never seem to know when the best time is to cut down the stems from the past...whne is the best time to do this?

At the end of the season, cut down any canes that have already fruited. In the early spring, thin out weak canes and crowded canes. The remainding canes should be spaced about six inches apart. Trim off any winter killed tips. (If you did not cut down the canes that bore fruit last summer yet, you can do it this spring.) Enjoy those berries!
