Question: The new growth on my rose bushes are purple. Is this normal or is it bad? Is it frost bitten?

Answer: New leaf and stem growth on roses is often purplish-red so what you're seeing is perfectly normal. As the leaves continue to develop they will take on a deep green color. Nothing to worry about! Enjoy your roses!
