The Q&A Archives: yucca cane

Question: i have a a 3foot tall yucca plant a nad i would like to know how to trim my plant cause i have had all my flowers allready die and now i just have the big long stock with baby??

Answer: The tropical yucca grown as a houseplant generally grows taller over time with a bare stem and foliage only at the top. Based on your description I think what you are seeing is normal. After blooming, trim off the flowers once they fade to tidy the plant.
