Some of the blossoms on my tomato plants have been rotting and falling off before a tomato can form. What could be causing this to happen and what can I do to prevent this and have more tomatoes this year? |
Generally, if tomato plants are not setting fruit, it's because the nighttime temperatures have fallen below 55F degrees. A second possibility is that the flowers aren't being pollinated. You can help things along by gently shaking the plant whenthere are several blossoms on it, or taking a fine artist's paintbrush and visiting each flower. |
