The Q&A Archives: planting time for bradford pear tree

Question: in dallas, when is the best time to plant a bradford pear tree.

Answer: John,

I apologize for this delayed reply to your gardening question and hope it is still helpful to you.

If it is container grown you can plant almost any time of the year except the hottest months of summer which are especially stressful. Now would be a great time to plant.

Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening year in 2007. Please stop in again soon!
