In some ways, having moles is actually a good sign that your soil is healthy and full of life. Moles eat insects such as grubs and do not damage plants. If the moles are not causing a dangerous situation, you might consider leaving them alone. The population tends to be cyclical, in that it will rise and then naturally fall off so the problem may take care of itself. If you truly need to control them, the most effective way is by trapping them. Here is information about traps you may find helpful. You may need to cut and paste the complete url into your browser to make it work correctly.

I hope this helps.
